You will need to demonstrate an interest in the fitness and leisure sector, and experience could be an advantage, but structured training will be a part of the role.
Profile:-
A person interested in working within the industry that can demonstrate a real commitment and skill when communicating with others with energy and enthusiasm.
Fitness qualifications would be an advantage but not essential. We can agree together your ongoing training goals, interests and targets.
The Role:-
16 – 20 hrs p.w. but other cover possible when available and could lead to longer contract hours.
Training will be a key element of the ongoing role and learning more about fitness and the market.
Customer engagement and basic administration on the front desk and in the Leisure club. If you are qualified, some fitness instruction will be part of the role. Also membership sales/general cleaning/housekeeping/leisure equipment management and duties as required on site.
It’s crucial to be able to work weekend hours, and some early morning and lock up shifts to 9pm.
Remuneration/package:-
Staff use of the facilities out of work hours.
Pay scale agreed dependent on experience, qualifications and skills attained to date in previous employment roles.
Company pension available and statutory holiday pay.
