There's a new face around the club, and we'd love to introduce you.
Her name is Vici, and she's our brand-new AI assistant, here to help you get the most out of Victoria Leisure Club, whether you've been a member for years or you're just having a curious look around our website for the first time.
So, who exactly is Vici?
Think of Vici as the friendly voice on the other end of the chat window. She lives on our new website, she's available around the clock, and she's been built specifically to know Victoria Leisure inside out — our memberships, our classes, our facilities, our quirks, the lot.
If our front desk had a tireless twin who camped out after closing time and never needed a tea break, that'd be Vici.
She's not here to replace the warm welcome you get when you walk through our doors — nothing replaces that. She's here to make sure that whenever you've got a quick question and the club's quiet, or you're sat on the sofa at 11pm (or later) at night wondering whether we've got a spin class on Saturday morning, you've got someone to ask.
What can Vici actually help with?
Quite a lot, as it turns out. Here's a snippet of what she can help with:
- "What memberships do you offer?" — Vici will steer you through every option, from our Best Value Annual at £299 right through to our Flexible Monthly Direct Debit Membership packages, and help you work out which one actually suits you. She'll always tell you the joining fees, the minimum terms, and the small print up front — no surprises.
- "I'm new — can i book a look around?" — She'll take a few details from you and automatically book you in for your tour of the club - even sending a tour confirmation of your agreed time straight to your email calendar and will do the same for our reception team so they know when you're due in!
- "Have you got a class at lunchtime on Wednesday?" — She'll point you immediately in the right direction so you can secure your slot or join the waitlist.
- "I'm thinking of joining but I'm nervous about gyms." — Honestly, this might be the thing she's best at. Vici doesn't do pressure. She'll listen, answer your questions properly, and let you make your own mind up in your own time.
Vici is currently in Beta. Meaning that like any AI, she can occasionally make mistakes. If she ever bumps into something she's not 100% sure about — a specific personal training query, a billing question, anything personal enought that she feels genuinely needs the TLC of our brilliant human team — she'll pass you straight over to them. She knows her limits, which we think is one of her best qualities.
A few honest words
Vici is new, and like anyone starting a new role, she'll keep getting better the more she gets to know everyone. If she ever gets something wrong or you'd rather chat to a real person, just say the word — we're always here.
